1. Check if the LED light on the adapter is lit (maker sure computer is turned on). If the LED is not lit, unplug the adapter (make sure you turn your computer off before removing any hardware) re-plug the adapter or try another slot.
- Check if the Drivers are properly installed.1. Right Click My Computer
2. Select Properties
3. Select the Hardware tab
4. Click Properties
5. Open up Network Adapters
6. Look for Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.11b/g Wireless Device
a. If the Network Adapter icon is green it means the drivers were installed correctly. Restart the PC. (Done)
b. If there is a red X on top it, it means the device has been disabled. To enable to right click the AZiO Adapter and select Enable (Done)
c. If the Network Adapter icon has a “!” mark on it, it means the drivers were not installed properly. (proceed to step 7)
7. To uninstall the previous driver, click Start, All Programs or Programs, and look for the model number of the AZiO Wireless Adapter.
8. Look for Wireless Network Monitor and select Uninstall.
9. Wait for the Install Shield Wizard to complete before re-installing the drivers.
10. To reinstall drivers, Insert the AZiO Setup CD into your CD-ROM drive.
11. Select Install Driver & Utility
12. proceed through the installation wizard
